Happy centenary today (27 July, 2025). This moving Sullivan disc was recorded on 27th July 1925. It is the first electrical recording ever made of his music.The record features 29 singers under the famous Anglo-Russian conductor Albert Coates. Billed as the BNOC Chorus but stiffened by recording artists such as Nellie Walker, Harold Wilde and Edward Halland |
